1920'S Ebony and Solid Silver Pin Box with Engraved Silver Fittings.

Description

London 1921 English hallmarked solid silver and ebony pin box having ebony moulded top and base edges with a hinged lid, decorated with shaped and engraved solid silver ornate corner mounts and the word "Pins," in a pierced mount.

The corner mounts are hallmarked London 1921, and the Pins mount is hallmarked London 1929.

Size-5 inches long by 2 3/8 inches wide by 1 3/8 inches high.

Weight-175 grams without packing material.

This would be a wonderful box for someone who enjoys sewing or tailoring, or to use on the desk for pins or clips.

A nice 1920's period box in good condition.
