Antique Georgian Style Mahogany Bedside Cabinet | Tray Top

Antique Georgian style mahogany bedside cabinet, a handsome and elegant piece of good quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship and classic proportions.

The cabinet is fitted with a single panelled door with a turned wooden knob and brass hinges, opening to a spacious dark-painted interior.

The top is in the traditional tray form, with a shaped wavy gallery and pierced carrying handles to each side. It stands on four tall square legs with chamfered inner edges and shaped corner brackets, with three ventilation holes to the back.

The mahogany displays a lovely figured grain and a rich, warm colour with a deep patina, particularly to the tray top.

Presented in good condition, a very desirable bedside cabinet, perfect for a bedroom, or as a lamp table beside a sofa or armchair.
