A Late 19th Century Rosewood Filing Cabinet

Description

A late 19th century table top filing cabinet in rosewood, the plain near-square top above a moulded cornice over straight sides and a tambour front with brass lock escutcheon, drawing upwards to reveal four open shelves, each with rosewood edges, the whole raised on a plain plinth base, English circa 1890.

Condition: Excellent, the piece is in very good condition with no damage or repairs, the tambour front runs smoothly with no splits to wood or canvas, overall the piece is in good solid condition, and has a charming appearance and lovely colour and patina.
