DESCRIPTIONA fine George III bow-front hanging corner cabinet dating from the mid to late eighteenth century, veneered in richly figured plum pudding mahogany with satinwood crossbanding.The cabinet has a moulded cornice above a pair of bowed doors opening to a shelved interior. The distinctive bow-fronted form is less commonly encountered than standard angular corner cupboards, giving the piece a more refined appearance while making full use of the corner space.
