Beautifully mounted with ormolu fittings, this bombe-shaped box reflects the refined craftsmanship and decorative appeal of late 19th century French porcelain.

Description

The lid is richly decorated with detailed enamel work, while the sides continue the floral and romantic theme. The piece displays beautifully and makes a striking decorative object or functional storage box.

Marked to the base with a Sevres-style mark, consistent with pieces of this type.
