An Unusual Victorian Silver & Vaseline Glass Posy Vase

A gorgeous silver and glass bud or posy vase assayed at the Birmingham Office. This charming late Victorian example has a round, weighted silver base with repousse design, featuring flowers and leaves to the sides. The glass is vaseline in pale blue and has a bulbous body and flared rim. Victorians delighted in small flowers such a violets and primroses and this is a lovely gift idea, being both practical and decorative. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no splits, holes or dents. The glass has no chips or cracks.
