Hi
I have for sale a very heavy English fusee ship''s clock, sold with a fully serviced chain-driven fusee movement by Prescott & Co of Prescott.
The Case
The case is in solid brass; it is 24cm across x depth of 12cm and in good original condition with a cast hinged thick bevelled glass front door released via the original key and lock.
The Dial
The dial is in good original condition in white enamel at 17cm across, and the clock also retains its original black/blue spade hands.
The Movement
The movement is an eight-day timepiece; she has been fully serviced by me with a new spring added, and runs faultlessly over eight days, a really heavy movement and running via the original chain.
Overall, a very original clock which contains all of its original features, this is quite a rare find these days.
If you require any further information, please ask. I am happy to send more photographs or can video the clock running, if desired. You are also very welcome to come
...and view the clock in person, which I would be happy to recommend as the photographs really can’t do it justice.
As with all my clocks, this one is sold with a ‘back-to-base’ 3-month guarantee. I also offer future clock servicing, which I carry out personally at a heavily discounted rate.
I will post worldwide.
