A Quality Late 19th Century Coromandel and Brass Bound Writing Slope

Description

A fine quality Coromandel and brass bound and inlaid writing slope. Vacant engraving plate with fine brass line inlay surround, matching key escutcheon with original working key. Inside a black and gilt tolled lamb skiver, locking top board with key, pen tray, nib compartment, spaces for two inkwells, and stationery compartments. The lockable top board opens to a concealed panel, behing which are two secret drawers.

We can, if required, supply a pair of quality reproduction glass and brass inkwells for an extra £30.
