Description

Victorian walnut writing box with brass corners and side mounts, having shaped brass cartouche to the top and a similar escutcheon.

It is 30 cm wide and in excellent original condition, all we had to do was give it a clean and a wax.

If you're looking for a writing box, this is the one to be with, it's an absolute cracker.

It comes with working key, and inside the leather writing surface is in great condition and there is a dished walnut pen tray.

If you lift the first of the dividers an internal bar pops open revealing two secret drawers.

Inside and out this box is simply excellent.
