Small 19th Century Leather Bound Jewellery Box Or Key Box

This beautifully made box is bound in fine Morocco leather with tooled & gilt detail to the top & sides & with a gilt brass cartouche engraved with the word “Keys”. I have described it as a jewellery box as I think it would work really well for this purpose. It has a working numbered Chubb lock engraved with “Appointment To Her Majesty". The interior is lined with silk velvet & has a single removable tray. Offered in fine condition.
