Antique Lancet Top Single Fusee Mantel Clock By Wilkinson Leicester Working.This beautiful single fusee mantel clock has a wooden case with a lovely rich colour and grain. The top of the case is then a �lancet� shape. The body of the case is then square with two lovely ring handles to each side as well as lovely brass inlay to the front. There is then a further moulding leading to the base of the case which is finished by four brass feet.The dial is then painted and set out in black Roman numerals with a thin ring of dashes to the outside marking the minutes. The centre of the dial is then signed by the maker �Wilkinson Leicester�. The dial is finally finished by two shaped hands as well as a domed, protective glass set into the brass bezel.The movement is then wound from the front and accessed from the back. It is a single fusee example of the upmost quality and comes complete with its regulating pendulum and winding key. It ticks away as it should and works perfectly....
