In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
The bottom half of the box is a pale pink colour and the interior is white with a mirror under the lid
It is in good condition for its age but unfortunately there are some chips around the outside (see photo) and some crazing internally. There are a few old age spots on the mirror but overall it still displays nicely.
