A lovely ornate 19th-century French mantel clock featuring a cherubic figure, playing a trumpet and holding a drum. The figure cast in gilt bronze and positioned atop a white marble base. The clock face is surrounded by floral garlands and framed with beaded detailing. The enamelled clock dial with Roman numerals and hand-painted floral accents fronting a Paris-made 8-day bell chiming movement, striking the hour and half hours; standing on gilt decorative bun feet.
