Inaba Company Japanese cloisonné footed rectangular box in the Chinese taste, Meiji period, circa 1900.
Gilt brass with bright polychrome cloisonne enamels
The hinged lid decorated with Pheonix and Dragon roundels, on a mid blue ground with flowers and leaves.
The base with stylized trailing foliage on a cafe au lait enamel ground, central (in pattern) mon mark for Inaba Company.
In excellent sound condition with no damage or repair, some wear to the gilt and light oxidation to the brass.
