Description

A beautiful and most useful Victorian coromandel jewellery box, the hinged lid with a vacant cartouche opening to a fitted interior. The underside of the lid is fitted with a spring mechanism which releases the plush lining to reveal a hidden removable mirror and stationery envelope . There is a side and a further lower drawer which is activated by pressing a button which releases the spring loaded drawers. This is one of the nicest boxes of this type that we have had for some time. It would make an ideal present to a loved one or oneself for other decorative items.
