Description

A really quite stunning and rarely found Shagreen (Shark / Sting Ray skin) box with the most sensational deep green colour and trimmed all around with polished brass.

The top has a lovely ovoid mount with an attractive frame surrounding a shell inset.

The interior does retain it's original cream coloured silk lining, with some wear but nice to be original.

Super condition without loss, a bright shiny patina and complete with a working key. 7 1/4" x 7 1/4" x 2 1/2" tall.
