Pair of elegant late C19th figured walnut or satin birch bedside tables or nightstands.
A true pair of ‘opposing’ left and right door opening bedside tables . Having subtle and restrained ebony stinging line inlay to the figured quarter-veneered doors and sides . Each fitted with a ebonised door-pull knob . Raised on tapering square-section supports with ebonised collar moulding detail, onto spade-type feet, the rectangular tops with raised low gallery edges, and having a further under-tier shelf beneath the cupboard.
The figured timber having achieved a warm honey-coloured patina . In excellent original condition with no damage or repairs.
