Tinker & Toad has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The lid and sides are adorned with a pretty floral design, and it stands on gilt brass feet.
Internally, there is a gilt metal bottle cage holding two colored glass scent bottles, both with their original stoppers intact. The circular lids are hand-painted with Parisian scenes.
In good condition for its age, with no losses except for the small clasp at the front.
