Description

A Fine French 19th century champleve enamel and ormolu mantel clock, beautifully enamelled depicting flowers and foliage with a vibrant turquoise background. The clock face itself also has an enamelled central disc.

Stamped on the movement: Médaille d’argenti 1855. / VINCENTI &CIE

Vincenti was a renowned clockmaker working from 1823 in Montbeliard.
