In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The doors open out to reveal a series of racks for holding papers and letters. There is also a pen tray and a pair of glass inkwells with silver plated tops. Below this is a large drawer with a brass handle.
It is in good condition and is certainly a very usable piece.
It has been lightly cleaned and polished and displays beautifully.
