A fine 18th-century plain stem wine glass dating to c1740. It has a drawn conical or trumpet bowl above a plain stem containing an air tear. Conical folded foot.
 
An unusual form, half way between a toasting glass with a thinner stem and a wine glass with a bigger bowl.

England, c1740. Period of George II.

Excellent, age-related wear as shown. No chips cracks or restoration.
