This elegant, hand-crafted Arts & Crafts copper casket, designed in a tapered rectangular shape, is perfect for storing jewellery or cherished keepsakes. Typical of the Arts & Crafts period, it features a hinged lid with a delicately embossed love heart in the lower right corner, opening to reveal an oak interior. The copper has developed a lovely warm colour and patina over time, adding to its character. The corners are accented with stylized, pierced mounts, further highlighted by silver studs. The front strap is secured with a decorative love heart, also adorned with silver stud detailing. A charming, well-crafted piece in very good condition, showing wear consistent with its age.
