In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
It is in good original condition with a lovely patina. There are some signs of age and use, some losses and wear and small chips to the lacquered finish in places but nothing detrimental. The pewter caddies are dented in places and have some small splits along the seams but overall they still display well.
