18th Century Glass Whisky Tumbler C1760

Technical Description

An excellent 18th century glass tumbler dating to c1760.

Tapered form with a snapped pontil. A really nice plain example and would work well with a good few measures of Scottish Whisky.

Out of all the 18th century glass forms, you will find that specifically tumblers from that period are almost always decorated in some way...moulding, engraving, enamelled, gilded or a combination. Its actually quite rare to find a ''plain'' example, which personally I like.
