A Louis XV/XVI Transitional Style Bombé Vitrine
Beautifully constructed from mahogany, dressed with glit bronze mounts, and incorporating a fine floral marquetry panel of kingwood bois-de-bout marquetry on a purpleheart background, the cabinet of slight bombé form, supported on sabot-shod legs with acanthus bronze mounts to the knees; a large glazed door opening to reveal a shelved interior, the apex of the corners surmounted by putti espagnolettes.
