In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The doors open out to reveal a series of racks for holding papers and letters. There is also a pen tray, and the original pair of glass inkwells although one is missing its lid. There is a writing slab in one door and a large drawer at the bottom for further storage.
It is in good condition and comes with a working key.
It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
