Description

A good Georgian brass and ebony inlaid mahogany Tea Caddy with a star motif to the centre of the lid and a shield-shaped brass key escutcheon to the front. This lovely box complete with its original working key, plus remnants of the original lead lining paper. The internal lid sits on top of the tea.

Dated: c.1820-30
