Description

A most unusual and useful antique Georgian leather top mahogany storage box on legs. This was made in England, it dates from the 1800-1820 period.

It is beautifully made from solid mahogany, there is inlaid satin wood banding on the front, the back has exposed dovetailed joints. This sits on nicely turned mahogany legs and has a leather topped lid that lifts off to reveal felt lined storage space.

The condition is very good for its age, we have given it a clean and fresh oil polish. There is some light wear here and there and a few minor chips and marks to the wood, nothing that affects the structural integrity.
