Slim, Well Balanced, Beautiful Early George II Mahogany Longcase Clock with Quarter Veneering to the Full Length Trunk Door. The Hood with Small Pagoda Top Columns As Part of the Door. Banded inlay.

Height 89.25in or 227cm

Five Pillar 8 Day Movement with Internal Count Wheel, Crisply Engraved Brass Dial with Gilt Corner Spandrels Depicting Cherubs Holding The Kings Crown Aloft (George II having only recently been Crowned). Silvered Chapter and Seconds Dial, Plus Date Window.

The Movement has been Checked, Serviced & Tested to be in Good & Full Antique Working Order.
