Description

A rare and striking little cylindrical box made from solid Ebony. The top is mounted with a stunning owl's face cast in brass and retaining it's original glass eyes.

The box lid unscrews to reveal the original powder puff and even the body powder intact.

Dating to the late Victorian era / early Edwardian era c.1900, it remains in excellent condition with one old repair around the lid which I have mentioned and shown for accuracy, not even noticeable to the naked eye.

2 1/2" in diameter x 2 3/4" tall.
