Description

This is a very pretty mid 19th century continental porcelain and gilt metal mounted trinket box dating from around 1860. The box is in the rococo style with the inset porcelain panels in a lovely lemon shade, hand painted with floral designs and applied raised polished beadwork detail in white porcelain. The interior has its original buttoned silk lining in aged condition. The pretty box measures 12 cms wide 7.5 cms high by 8.5 cms deep.
