Description

A beautiful and quite unusual antique Victorian gilt wood marble top cabinet. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period.

It is of fantastic quality, this is full of character and charm with stunning details throughout. The gilt finish has acquired a gorgeous patina, the door has an inset oval mirror.

The condition is excellent for its age, we have had the gilt finish touched up in places but have generally left the patina. The blue velvet lining is quite possibly original or at least has some good age to it, there is some wear and markings. We have had the carrara marble top newly made for this, it is in perfect condition.
