Here we have a wonderful rare Victorian Oak country house post box c1880. As you can see the post box has great colour and patina. This post box once belonged to a Norfolk rectory and has come to us by decent. The post box is made from thick solid Oak with a sloped top and beautiful original cast letter slot to the top. The timbers have been quarter sawn showing off the medullary rays within the Oak. The over hanging top has a single fielded panel door with working lock and key. leading down to a plinth base. A super period post box ready for your home in great retail condition. The dimensions are approx 88 cm high 42 cm wide 27 cm deep.
