A large sized burr walnut cigar box. Fascinating grain to the wood and covered in heavy duty brass producing an attractive gothic look all around. In the centre is a large solid brass handle. Dates to the early Victorian period 1840. The interior is cedar lined with a large plaque inside the lid stating; Sir Herbert Hambling Bart”. It comes with a fully functioning lock and key.
