A very rare and unusual Victorian silver plated biscuit box with a thatched roof effect. The thatched roof lifts up on either side and is supported by a cast rustic floral and branch stand. Marked on the roof is a Victorian diamond registration mark. This box is in very good original silver plate.

Date: c.1880.
