An attractive brass bound oak writing, stationery box that dates to around 1905
In great original condition in a mid brown waxed finish with brass corners and handles and also a cartouche on the top and front…..it has a real Arts and Crafts look to it
The drawer opens to reveal a top section to store letters and stationery. The drawer has a removable pen slope and it has it’s’ original screw top inkwell
It comes with a working lock and key
Measures 12 inches wide, 8 inches deep and 8 inches high
A really elegant piece that would look outstanding in a contemporary or period setting and would make a nice gift for the man who has everything
