Victorian Mahogany Domed Jewellery Box

Description

A superb mahogany domed jewellery box that dates to around 1850

In magnificent original condition with a deep rich brown waxed finish with a strong flame mahogany configuration on the top and sides

Has a blank brass cartouche which could be engraved with a name

It has relined with a hand printed blue leaf paper but has its original blue satin interior and its original working lock and key

A very attractive item that would make an elegant gift for a loved one

It measures 12 inches wide , 6 inches high and 9 inches deep
