Georgian Inlaid Yew Octagonal Tea Caddy C1800

Description

This beautiful GEORGE III OCTAGONAL YEW WOOD TEA CADDY, inlaid with panels of ACORNS and OAK LEAVES and CLASSICAL URNS, dates from circa 1800. It retains its original hinges and lock (no key).

The CADDY displays very well-chosen yew wood veneers.

It is in good overall condition. The interior lids are missing.

Width: 7.25 inches (18.5 cm)

Depth: 4.25 inches (10 cm))
