Description

This gently dome-topped box is made from solid Mahogany & covered in some exceptional burr Walnut, so highly decorative and a deep Cognac in colour.

The box's lid is trimmed in Mahogany around the edge and inlaid with Ebony on the top of the lid.

The box has been professionally re-lined with hand-marbled paper, creating an attractive and clean interior.

The front is inset with a diamond shaped Ivory escutcheon which houses the working tasselled key.

Excellent condition measuring 12" x 7" x 3".
