Description

A George III mahogany Tea Caddy with an unusual addition of a secret drawer to the side. The side of the caddy pulls up and a secret drawer pulls out. This contains an old invoice from 1991. Originally the secret drawer would have been for storing caddy spoons, or other valuables....

The tea chest has the original brass escuthcheon and swan neck handle, standing on bracket feet. c1770/80

It measures 22.5cm w x 12.5cm d x 17cm h.
