Georgian Campaign Dispatch / Document Box

Description

Very nice early 19th century Georgian mahogany and brass bound document or dispatch box. The box has been made of nicely grained mahogany with lovely shaped brass inlaid fittings. The top has an ebony line stringing inlaid with ebony round dots in the corners. The box retains its original lock with working key. The box is in very good condition and is a lovely colour with waxed finish.
