Antique Leather Jewellery Box

1900 - 1920
Description

A lovely leather covered Jewellery box, dating from the early 20th Century. The outer of the box is covered in maroon leather with gilt borders and a brass escutcheon. Inside, the box is fully lined with blue silk and has a fitted lift out tray with various sections for rings, bracelets, watch etc. It comes with its original working key.

The box is in good condition for its age. The outer has some small age related knocks and scuffs but no major damages. Inside is generally clean and tidy and overall it displays very well and is certainly a nice usable item.
