Antique Rosewood Fretwork Letter Box

A lovely mid 1800s rosewood & mother of pearl inlaid letter or mail box.
 
The box has carved open fretwork on all sides and on the top there is  a hinged lid with a lock and key. There are  two plaques, in mother of pearl, one for ''Answered'' and the other for ''Unanswered'' mail''.  Inside the box there is a division to keep the two different mails separate. At either end there are two open sections for storage on pens etc.
 
This great piece stands on four compressed bun feet. The letter box is in overall very good condition, with a very minor repair to fretwork on one end.
 
It measures 28cm w x 14.5cm d x 13cm h.
