In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The sloping front opens out to reveal a series of racks for holding papers and letters. There is also a pen tray and a glass inkwell and below there is a large drawer that pulls out. It comes with its original working bramah lock and key.
It is in good condition throughout and displays beautifully.
The interior is clean and tidy. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
