This attention to detail is carried through into the interior of the caddy where the rim is beautifully inlaid and the lids inlaid with a complimentary linear and chequer border. Each of the lids has a turned ebony knob and the interior of the two compartments retain their original paper finish. The interior of the lid is finished in a rich deep red velvet.
The caddy stands on four brass ball feet, complimenting the Lion's head handles to each side. The diamond shaped escutcheon houses the working key.
A real stunner and an excellent size, measuring 8 1/4" wide x 5 1/2" x 7" tall. Excellent condition with a minor repaired hairline to the front of the lid, insignificant but mentioned for accuracy. Professionally re-French polished to showcase it's natural beauty.
