Driscolls Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
1900. It has a moulded cornice above a blind fret-work frieze and two glazed doors with astragal glazing bars. There is a key with working locks. This fine antique cupboard has canted sides and it stands on shaped bracket feet. It splits into two sections for removal and the upper section has three shaped shelves whilst the lower has one. It has aged to a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
