Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

Light baluster stemware emerged in mid-18th-century England, characterised by slender stems often featuring elongated knops, air twists, or tear inclusions following the implementation of the Glass Excise Act.

Georgian drinking vessels were typically made from lead glass, known for its heavy weight, high refractive index, and distinctive ring when struck, which replaced earlier soda-lime formulations.

Authentic pieces display pontil marks on the underside of the foot, wear scratches consistent with age, minor air bubbles within the metal, and characteristic tool marks from manual forming.

Antique stemware can be displayed within illuminated cabinets or open shelving to introduce historical texture and reflective surfaces to modern dining spaces.

Antique glass should be washed by hand in lukewarm water using mild detergent, avoiding sudden temperature changes and abrasive materials to protect the delicate surface and engraving.
