Art Deco Bronze Clock Set with Panther by Hugues

1920 - 1940
Description

A stunning Art Deco Clock Set with Lamp Garnitures by highly regarded French Sculptor , Jean-Baptiste Hugues , who was working in Paris during the 1920s.

A beautifully designed , solid bronze panther mounted on a marble and onyx plinth , supported by four chrome columns in a Romanesque style with a centralised Art Deco dial & chrome pendulum . Signed to the back of the panther Hugues and stamped bronze.

All piece is in very good, vintage condition with only minor, age related wear. There is a minimal repair to the small corner of the glass on the back door, not visible when displayed.

Clock movement has recently been serviced and it is in good, working condition. Both lamps have been professionally rewired.
