A Regency three-ring decanter is a style of glass bottle produced during the early 19th century, characterised by three distinct applied glass rings around the neck, which were originally designed to provide a secure grip for pouring.

Authentic period pieces were typically crafted from heavy lead crystal or flint glass, often paired with coasters made from silver plate, sterling silver, or wood with turned bases.

Authenticity is indicated by a polished pontil mark on the base, hand-cut facets, a matching numbered stopper, and minor wear scratches consistent with age and use.

Positioning the piece on a sideboard, drinks trolley, or dining table centrepiece adds classic texture and sophisticated reflection to a contemporary or traditional room scheme.

Wash by hand in warm water using mild detergent, avoiding sudden temperature changes to prevent thermal shock, and store without the stopper inserted to allow air circulation.
