The Sacred alliance a most unusual and rare timepiece, circa 1815,

depicting the three Monarchs.

Alexander the 1st the Russian czar, Francis1st the first emperor of Austria, and Frederick William the 3rd king of Prussia

The movement indicates that it has not been in use for some time, and appears as such in the attached image.

The sacred alliance was founded on September 26, 1815. Therefore the timepiece would have been made around that time to commemorate this significant alliance.

This most unusual timepiece would be of interest to historians, horologist and collectors of militaria.
